The PCOS Protection Plan by Colette Harris and Theresa Cheung
This book touched on some great PCOS information. The first section of the book discusses the various health issues that may come along with having PCOS. While most PCOS books share the same general information, the presentation is always different.
The authors of this book both have PCOS, so they have written it in an easy to understand (though British) way that really helps the reader to understand the information. The rest of the book focuses on the lifestyle changes that can have a strong positive impact on your PCOS symptoms. They focus on the idea that a low-glycemic diet is best, as well as plenty of exercise.
There is also vast discussion of the various herbs, vitamins, minerals and nutrients, which can help with any specific PCOS-related issues you may have. There are even recipes at the end of the book! This book is a great overall resource for PCOS information, and a great place to start if you are wondering why you may have the symptoms you have, as well as learning how to get them under control with simply lifestyle changes.
